Mike comes from a diverse background in retail, professional management, and nonprofit project management. Through a variety of positions, he has learned that a positive client experience is the key to success in almost any venue. As Director of Operations & Finance, Mike focuses on building and implementing the necessary components to ensure that Nuila Events is able to provide the all-star service the company is known for.

Prior to joining the team at Nuila Events, Mike spent four years working in development and project management with a charity committed to serving post-9/11 military personnel suffering from Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). During the course of his time there, he was responsible for conceptualizing and implementing multiple fundraising projects, running a successful annual golf tournament, creating and staffing several tradeshow booths, and spearheading community support events with local church and school groups on behalf of the organization. These experiences taught Mike the importance of using every tool at his disposal to enhance revenue and minimize cost without sacrificing quality. He is a firm believer that world-class events are achievable on any budget, and he loves to help his team create unique concepts that will wow clients and event attendees alike!

Mike is also committed to social responsibility and enjoys volunteering with multiple charities. When not at work, he enjoys traveling with his wife and son, cooking gourmet meals and playing music.
