Happy Holidays From Nuila Events

A Letter From the Owner

Dear Friends,

This week I need to send the Holiday eBlast, finish the Blog post, update my Business Plan for next year, update marketing materials and train our new Intern on Social Media processes....on top of the regular work grind. Don't get me wrong, I love what I do, but when you're into the details like I am, it can be a bit overwhelming at times. Oh and did I mention that my week ends tomorrow?

As noodle-brained as I am today (dreaming of egg nog - almond egg nog, but that's a whole other story), I realize that I am truly blessed to spend another holiday season with loved ones. This year, we added a new beaming addition to our family: my incredibly handsome Nephew. I couldn't be a prouder auntie and have a more sobered perspective on "The Holidays" this year. He is a glowing reminder that I need to take a deep breath and focus on what matters most.

I hope I can send the warmest wishes to all of you - our clients, friends and fans this Holiday Season! I desperately hope you have the opportunity to slow down and truly enjoy it. Sometimes life moves so quickly that we completely miss it - the joys of family and friends and the magic of the holiday season.

One of my favorite movies is The Family Man starring Nicholas Cage (I know you're thinking Ghost Rider and Gone in 60 Seconds, but he actually does a decent job in this family movie, honestly!) and I watch it every year. It's a reminder that all of the riches, money and power in the world can't replace the love of true friends and the security of real family. It is my prayer that all of you feel loved and appreciated as we enter a new year. If you get some time, I highly recommend watching this feel-good flick with a glass of delicious almond egg nog.

As we journey into another year, I look forward to serving you, working alongside you and entertaining you in the new year. You are valued and appreciated by the Nuila Events family and we wish you the very best that the new year can offer!

See you in 2015!
